Music Gig at Worthing

Janet Spence and many of her friends from the Willow Club took turns at this outside event in the town centre in Worthing to do their bit to raise funds for our group. It was a great day for all who participated in the event and we raised £125-23.
The sun shone all day with a small shower, which was quite refreshing. The support we had was really overwhelming with so many local talented people giving their time to help us raise the awareness of Fibromyalgia. The people that we would like to thank are:
Geoff Cox, Richard Warner, Drum Spirit, Martin from The Body Shop, Mark Lick Music Worthing, Richard Ratcliffe & brother Nigel, Will, Ray Hedges, Jo & Emma, Eerier, Ken Weston, Shelagh Weston, Marilyn, Beverley, Helena Buquie, Rick Clay, Gerry Richards, Merry, Guitar Tutor from Northbrook College & students, and Hot Beluga. Also a big thank you to Mike Paine who we had to stand down. Also, all the collectors who gave their time, and all the people that made this such a special day.
Later that month at the Worthing meeting Janet was presented with a bouquet of flowers to thank her for all her hard work and effort on behalf of the group.
