European Network of Fibromyalgia Associations (ENFA)
The ENFA represents 11 countries in the European Union: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.
On September 1st 2008, 5 European Parliament members presented a written declaration about fibromyalgia.

It should be possible to see, on the above linked web site, which European MPs have signed it. So do look there to see if your MEP is one of them! Those who are known to have signed will be listed at the bottom of this page.
If not you can use this letter to urge them to do so. Remember the more people in their own constituency who contact them, the more likely they are to sign. The declaration is asking for all member states to formally recognise fibromyalgia and put money into research, so this can benefit everyone eventually. The UK has one fifth of the MEPs required to move this on to the next stage, so you really can make a difference.
