International Fibromyalgia Awareness Week
The Feel Good Factor Event
Millennium Hall, Roffey, Horsham
In the afternoon of Friday 15 September 2006, FMS Awareness Week was celebrated by offering FREE treatments including Reiki, Reflexology, Massage, Craniosacral therapy, Nail treatments, gentle leisure activities etc.. These were well received by the visitors to the event.
A range of information about FMS, ME and the various therapies and treatments was available. The aim was to cover the spiritual, emotional/psychological, and physical effects in an upbeat manner and this made the event both informative and enjoyable.
A DVD called ‘Show me where it hurts’ was shown. If you missed it (or even if you didn't) you can read about it and buy a copy. See here.
This event was supported by Horsham District Council and the Horsham & Chanctonbury Primary Care Trust.
