Patsy’s Crafts

Autumn is coming and, indeed, Christmas - 2008. I really think it's important to try and raise as much as we can in funds for the group. As it is getting harder to get money in these days, I am organising craft stalls for late November and early December. I would really appreciate anybody who can do crafts to donate some of their best pieces to make ours the best stand ever!
The more pieces we have, the more we can sell and the more we can raise-not just money-awareness, help to support others, better facilities and treatment for all. Don't hold back; get weaving,knitting, sewing etc. Phone me and I will organise a central spot to get things together. I have the vehicle and tables already and have already started on some of my own craftwork. Gloves, scarves, hats, bags, quilted goodies, cards, cushions, oven mitts, tea cosies, Xmas decorations, painted bits - go mad with colour and enjoy yourselves!
I am also trying to get together a list of various pieces of disabled aids and equipment that members could buy through the group at more realistic prices than most shops charge. I have been horrified at the prices that I have been quoted for some items, and have been approaching various manufacturers to see what deals I can get. It would be really helpful to know what items people need, so if you could let me know your requirements it would be helpful.
