CAR BOOT SALE EASTER SUNDAY 2009
No chocolate egg for me on waking up as Liz arrived it was 06.30 in the morning and I was still in my pj’s! Kettle on, tea made, cat fed, quick shower car loaded and away we went. It was dark damp and quite miserable. Liz was full of life while I was still trying to keep my eyes open!  Ann As time went on the weather did not improve but at least the rain held off. By 10am we felt we had been there all day. It soon became apparent that Liz had a natural way of selling as every time I went to the facilities or to buy a coffee she sold a lot of goods.  Liz The sun came out, people donated goods to us and we cheered up. A lot of interest was shown in the group and the condition so although the day was tiring we felt that it was well worth it and we raised £25 for the group. These car boot sales may become a regular thing at Shoreham Railway station car park so watch the message board for news of the next one and you too can come along and help.
