Leisure Access Cards - HorshamLeisure Access Cards are aimed at people on a low income who live in the Horsham District. The only way that can ensure that cards are given to those on a low income is to use the national benefits system aimed at supporting those on low incomes. Incapacity Benefit is not means tested or income-based and therefore does not indicate a low income. A Leisure Access Card is not therefore issued on this basis It is necessary to be in receipt of other benefits such as Income support, Council Tax Benefit or Housing Benefit. If you receive any of these then you are certainly eligible for a Leisure Access Card. If you do not receive these income-based benefits and believe you should, please contact your local Benefits Agency. They will be able to advise you on which benefits you are eligible to receive, based on your income - and how to claim.
